Apartment hunting can be both fun and challenging! Finding an apartment that’s affordable, in a good location and up to your living standards are just the first things you need to worry about when choosing the perfect apartment. Whether you’re a first-time apartment renter, or you’ve been in the game for a while, you’ll want to ask some important questions before you sign a lease and collect your keys. We’ve put together the top questions renters should ask property managers BEFORE signing a lease.

What are the lease terms?

6-month to 12-month leases

What does it cost to move in?

First months rent + deposit $199 (OAC)

Are utilities included in the cost?

Water,Sewer, Trash, Trash Vallet and High Speed Internet are included. Resident is responsible for power.

What's your pet policy?

We love and welcome your pets! $400 deposit, 50% refundable on move-out with $50/mo pet rent per pet.

What is your guest policy?

14-day maximum with minors always being accompanied by an adult

Do you require apartment renters insurance?

Resident is strongly encouraged to maintain liability insurance for Owner. Coverage should be at least in the amount of One Hundred thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) for damage to Owner’s and third party’s property with the provisions covering at least peril

How do I pay the rent?

Personal check, cashiers check, money order, online payments.

How are repairs taken care of, especially in an emergency?

24-hour on call maintenance staff.

Is there public transportation nearby?

Yes, Suntran route 7 stops at the property.

How often does rent go up? By how much?

Depending on market conditions, it may increase annually.

What is the parking situation?

Ample parking includes one reserved, covered parkig spot per residence and open uncovered parking.

Are there plans to update the building?

New construction April 2021

Is there a penalty for breaking my lease?

Yes, if Resident does not fulfill the entire initial term, Resident shall be liable to Owner for the costs incurred by Owner as a result of the early termination. These costs are in addition to the other damages and rent. (including future rent)
